Budget-minded travellers get the most from this three-star hotel. It was the lowest eligible reference price in our Cayenne sample once the upscale slot was reserved.
Families can look at the listed family rooms. Drivers get free parking. Air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk are also listed, which helps with late arrivals.
If spotless rooms are a must, think twice. Some guests report dirty floors, dust or pests, even though most describe the hotel as generally tidy.
Location and getting around
You will find it at 19 Rue Mole. Guests rate the location 8.9 out of 10 and mention restaurants, the bus station and the main square close by.
Cayenne Cathedral is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. The Jardin botanique de Cayenne is 1.4 km away, about 18 minutes.
Both walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been checked on the ground, so real routes may take a little longer. For a short stay, most of what guests mention is within easy reach on foot.
What guests say
With 761 reviews and an 8.2 score, this hotel has the largest review base of our three Cayenne picks. It shared second place on review score among the 4 eligible properties.
Location and staff lead the praise. Guests describe a friendly, professional and helpful team with a warm welcome.
Cleanliness is the weak point. Rooms are called generally tidy, but some reviews mention dirty floors, dust or pests. Look at recent reviews close to your travel dates to see if this has improved.
Price compared with our other two Cayenne picks
The reference price was €98.40 per night, about €196.80 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room, not live quotes. That is 38% below the sample median of €157.70.
Hôtel des Palmistes, our Best Value pick, was €132.40 per night with a score of 8.0. Hotel Ker Alberte, the Luxury pick, was €183 per night with 8.8 and four stars.
So you save €34 per night against the Best Value option and get a slightly higher guest score. The step up to Ker Alberte costs €84.60 more per night. Check today's price for your dates before deciding.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 4 eligible properties in Cayenne. This one won the Budget slot on price, and its 8.2 score from 761 reviews shows the low rate does not come with a poor rating.
The central position, rated 8.9 for location, adds to the case.
