Concierge Plaza La Villa is our Best Value pick in Colima, a 3-star hotel at Martha Dueñas 39. It suits couples, families and drivers who care about clean rooms and a quiet street more than about a grand lobby. Family rooms and free parking are both listed.
Travellers who want to be a short stroll from the cathedral should know it is just over 30 minutes on foot. If a fourth star matters, our Luxury pick costs only a little more.
Location and getting around
Guests describe a central but quiet setting near the garden, restaurants and main attractions, and they rate the location 9.5 out of 10.
Our straight-line estimates give a more mixed picture. La Campana archaeological site is 1.1 km away, about 14 minutes on foot. The Cathedral Basilica of Colima is 2.7 km, about 34 minutes, which is far enough that many people will take a taxi or public transport. Capacha is 5 km, about 63 minutes, so plan on transport for that one. Free parking makes a car a practical option.
What guests say
The hotel scores 9.0 out of 10 from 342 reviews, joint first of 7 eligible hotels in our sample. Cleanliness is the standout: guests describe impeccable standards in the rooms and across the facilities. The quiet location is the other repeated positive.
The pool gets mixed comments. Guests appreciate having one, but water temperature, cleanliness and access rules vary from one report to the next. If the pool is a big reason for your trip, check recent reviews.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults put this hotel at €75.19 a night, 9% below the sample median of €83.02. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
