This is our Luxury pick in Luton, United Kingdom. Be clear on what that means here: there was no five-star option that qualified, so the slot went to a four-star hotel scoring at least 8.5. Its four stars are estimated by the accommodation, not an official rating.
With 8.8 out of 10 from 3,489 reviews, it had the top guest score of the 5 eligible properties we compared. It suits flyers who want a comfortable night before or after a flight, business travellers and families, since family rooms are listed.
Skip it if you expect a true luxury hotel or if you are mainly in Luton to explore elsewhere in the region. It is a well-rated airport hotel, and our Budget and Best Value picks cover that need for less.
Location on Airport Way and getting around
The address is Airport Way. Guests rate the location 9.0 out of 10, which makes sense for a hotel whose main job is airport access.
By straight-line estimate, Someries Castle is 0.9 km away, around 11 minutes on foot. Dunstable Priory is 9.2 km away, close to two hours on foot, so that is far and needs public transport or a taxi.
How you get between the hotel and the terminal is not confirmed in our data. Check the walking route, any shuttle and its cost with the hotel before you travel, especially for early departures.
What guests say
The numbers carry the message here: 8.8 from 3,489 reviews put it first on guest score among 5 eligible properties, and the 9.0 location rating is strong.
Our data does not include a summary of specific praise or recurring complaints for this hotel. We cannot tell you how guests rate the rooms, noise or staff. Read recent reviews, and look in particular for comments on aircraft noise and airport transfers.
Price against our other Luton picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room) were about €146.18 per night, around €292 for two nights. The sample median was €114.90 per night, so this hotel sits clearly above the middle of the market. These are not live quotes; check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Spark by Hilton Luton, was about €102.14 per night, with a score of 8.3 and four stars. Our Best Value pick, Holiday Inn London Luton Airport by IHG, was about €113.08 per night, with a score of 8.6 and three stars.
So you pay roughly €33 to €44 more per night than the other two for a score 0.2 to 0.5 points higher. For one night before a flight, that may well be worth it. For a longer stay, the gap adds up.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible properties in Luton. Five-star hotels get priority for the Luxury slot, and when none qualifies, a four-star hotel needs a score of at least 8.5.
Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport cleared that bar comfortably with 8.8 and the highest score in the sample, backed by a large number of reviews.
