Daegu Marriott Hotel
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Daegu Marriott Hotel is worth booking if you want a 5-star hotel with a spa, pool and gym, and a base that guests say is close to the KTX station. It is hard to justify on price alone, since it cost about three times our other two picks, and the main sights in our data are all a long walk away.

This hotel suits travellers arriving or leaving by train, business visitors and anyone who wants full 5-star facilities: the property lists a spa, a pool, a gym, a restaurant and free parking. English-speaking staff, mentioned by guests, help first-time visitors.
Skip it if you mainly want a good-value bed. Our Budget pick has the same 8.6 score for less than a third of the price, and our Best Value pick scores higher still.
Location and getting around
The address is 6, Dongbu-ro 26-gil, Dong-gu. Guests rate the location 9.2 out of 10 and say it is close to the KTX station, a department store and local eateries.
For sightseeing, distances are long. Daegu National Museum is about 3.4 km away, roughly 43 minutes on foot. Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral, Daegu is about 3.7 km, around 46 minutes. Daegu Samsung Lions Park is about 6.2 km, around 78 minutes. All three are far, so you will need public transport or a taxi. Times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The score is 8.6 out of 10 from 337 reviews. Location and staff earn the most praise. Guests describe a friendly, helpful team who speak English and accommodate requests.
Breakfast is the weak spot. There is a wide variety, with Asian and American choices listed, but some guests found the quality disappointing for a hotel of this level.

The Daegu sample median was €63.62, so this is a big step up. You pay roughly €130 more per night than either for the fifth star and the spa, pool and gym, not for a higher guest score.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible hotels in Daegu. Our Luxury slot gives priority to 5-star properties, and Daegu Marriott holds an official 5-star rating, a solid 8.6 score and a 9.2 location score.
Its guest score ranked third of the 5, and 337 reviews is a modest base, so treat the score as a good guide rather than a certainty.
