By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want the highest-rated stay in Portrush, a 5-star hotel with a spa and a quiet setting near the coast. If budget matters, know that it cost about four times our other two picks and guests find the restaurant and drinks expensive.

Our Luxury pick in Portrush is an officially rated 5-star hotel. It has a guest score of 9.5 out of 10, the top score among the 5 properties we compared.
It suits couples and travellers marking an occasion who want a spa, attentive service and a calm setting. Drivers benefit from the free parking listed.
Skip it if you are watching costs. The room rate is high, and guests say food and drink add a lot on top. Also note the score rests on only 84 reviews.
Location and getting around
The address is Dunluce Road. Guests rate the location 9.8 out of 10 and describe a tranquil setting near Portrush, with a walk down to White Rocks Beach.
Beach appears in the property's facility list, but that does not confirm a beachfront position or an exact walking time.
Dunluce Castle is about 2.7 km away, roughly 34 minutes on foot. That is just over half an hour, so many people will prefer a taxi or public transport.
The walking time is a straight-line estimate and has not been verified. The distance into Portrush itself is not confirmed in our data.
What guests say
Staff draw the strongest praise. Guests describe a friendly, professional and attentive team that goes above and beyond.
The quiet location near the coast and the walk to White Rocks Beach also stand out.
The criticism is about cost. Some guests say the stay is worth the price, but many feel restaurant and drink prices are high. Budget for that if you plan to eat in.
Price and how it compares with our other Portrush picks
The reference price was €343.89 per night. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
The Portrush sample median was €122.37, so this is far above it.
Our Budget pick, Portrush Atlantic Hotel, was €83.00 with a score of 8.2 and 3 stars. Our Best Value pick, Inn On The Coast, was €87.43 with a score of 8.9 and 3 stars.
You pay roughly €256 more per night than the Best Value pick. For that you get 5 stars, a score 0.6 points higher and a much longer list of facilities.
Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, a spa and wellness centre, a gym, a restaurant, free parking, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. Breakfast options listed are full English or Irish, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, American and breakfast to go. Inclusion in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible properties in Portrush. For the Luxury slot we prioritise 5-star hotels, and this is one with an official rating.
It also had the highest guest score in the sample. The small review count is the main reason for caution.
