Elba Motril Beach & Business Hotel
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking if you want a 4-star base in Motril with a well-rated buffet breakfast, a gym and 3,784 reviews behind its score. Skip it if the pool matters a lot to you or if price is all that counts, because our Luxury pick was cheaper on the reference dates.

This is our Best Value pick in Motril. It fits couples and families who want a 4-star hotel with the basics covered: a restaurant, a gym, family rooms, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Guests score it 8.5 out of 10 across 3,784 reviews, so the number is stable.
Breakfast lovers will do well here. The buffet is what guests praise most.
Skip it if you are planning a pool-centred trip. Guests often describe the indoor and outdoor pool areas as small and in need of repair.
Location and getting around Motril
The address is Avenida Playa del Poniente, s/n. Guests rate the location 8.7, but we have no verified walking times to the town centre, the beach or any sight.
Beach appears in the facility list supplied to us. That does not confirm a beachfront position or tell you how far the sand is. Open the address on a map and measure the walk yourself. We also have no transport details, so check buses or taxis if you need them.
What guests say
Two themes stand out. Breakfast is an extensive buffet with sweet and savoury options and fresh fruit. Staff are described as friendly, professional, attentive and welcoming.
The main complaint is the pool: small, and in need of repair according to many guests. If swimming matters, look at recent guest photos. Room size, noise and room condition have not been assessed, so read recent reviews on those points.
Price and value against our other Motril picks
The reference price was 92.50 euros a night. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
Hotel Estrella Del Mar, our Budget pick, is a 1-star hotel scoring 8.2 at 72 euros. Impressive Playa Granada Golf, our Luxury pick, is a 4-star hotel scoring 8.6 at 82.63 euros. So on the reference dates the Luxury pick was about 10 euros a night cheaper and scored slightly higher.
Elba keeps the Best Value slot thanks to a far larger review base and its breakfast reputation. If price decides it for you, compare all three for your dates.
Why it made our top 3
Only 3 eligible hotels were compared in Motril, a small sample. Elba held joint second place on guest score. Our Best Value label weighs score, review count and price together; it does not mean cheapest.
Consistency tipped it: 8.5 from 3,784 reviews, 8.7 for location and clear praise for breakfast and staff. The honest trade-off is that its price sat above the sample median of 82.63 euros.
Before you book
Breakfast inclusion is not confirmed, so check your rate. Confirm cancellation terms, room size and any fees for the gym, pool or parking, plus pool and restaurant opening times for November.
Measure the distance to the beach yourself before you assume it is close.
