Grupotel Flamingo Beach
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking if you want direct beach access and a promenade location for well under half the price of our other Playa Blanca picks. Skip it if you are sensitive to cleanliness issues, since some guests report damp smells, bugs or leaks.

Grupotel Flamingo Beach is our Budget pick in Playa Blanca. It suits families and couples who want the beach on the doorstep and a long list of facilities at a lower price. The property lists beachfront, a pool, gym, restaurant, free parking, family rooms, a garden, a terrace and free Wi-Fi.
It is a 2-star hotel, so do not expect the polish of our pricier picks. Most guests find the rooms spotless, but some report damp smells, bugs or water leaks. If that would spoil a holiday for you, compare the alternatives.
Location and getting around
The address is Avenida de Canarias, s/n. Guests describe it as on the promenade near shops and restaurants, with views of Fuerteventura. The location score is 9.2 out of 10.
Direct access to the sandy shore of Flamingo Beach is the main draw, according to guests. Pechiguera Lighthouse is about 3 km away, roughly 38 minutes on foot. That is far for a casual stroll, so a taxi or public transport makes sense if you do not want the walk. Walking times are straight-line estimates. Free parking is listed if you hire a car.
What guests say
The score is 8.0 out of 10 from 4,239 reviews. Guests most often praise the promenade setting, the nearby shops and restaurants, the views of Fuerteventura and the direct beach access.
Cleanliness is where reports differ. Rooms are generally described as spotless, but some guests mention damp smells, bugs or water leaks. Room size and noise are not covered in the data.

Our Best Value pick, Jardines del Sol, scored 9.0 at €275.69 per night. Our Luxury pick, Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada Resort, scored 8.6 at €295. Here you pay less than half and give up some guest score and star rating.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible hotels in Playa Blanca. The Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is set aside, and this hotel took it at €108.
On review score it placed joint 9th of 9, so it is here for price and beach access rather than rating. The 9.2 location score and large review base support the choice.
Before you book
