Match-day visitors are an obvious fit, with Pride Park Stadium about 9 minutes away on foot. Guests also call it convenient for the train station and local restaurants. Family rooms are listed, and breakfast gets real praise.
Skip it if price is your first filter. In our reference check it was well above the city median, and guests note that parking and pet charges push the total up. Our Budget pick costs about a third as much.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 7 properties in Derby. Holiday Inn Express Derby Pride Park is our Best Value pick because it balances the top guest score in the sample, a large number of reviews and a price below the Luxury option. It is not the cheapest hotel in the city, and in our check it was not cheap at all.
Listed facilities include a restaurant, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
