Book it if you want a 4-star with a spa, pool and gym in Blankenberge for less than the local median. Skip it if a warm, well-kept pool is the main reason for your trip, or if you want to walk to the sights listed nearby.

Hotel Aazaert by WP Hotels is our Budget pick in Blankenberge. It suits couples and families who want facilities without paying top price: a spa and wellness centre, a pool, a gym, a terrace and family rooms are all listed.
It is a less obvious fit for guests who plan to spend hours in the pool. That area draws the most criticism.
Anyone who wants to walk to the attractions in our data should also think again, as both are far away.
Location and getting around
The address is Hoogstraat 25, in what the listing calls the top-rated area of Blankenberge. The location score is 9 out of 10.
Beach appears in the provider facilities, but that does not confirm a beachfront position or a walking distance to the sand. Check this yourself on a map before you book.
Ter Doest Abbey is about 6.2 km away, roughly 78 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. Schipdonk Canal is about 6.7 km, around 84 minutes. Both are far, so you will need public transport or a taxi. Parking is not confirmed.
What guests say
The score is 8.3 out of 10 from 1,468 reviews. That puts it joint second of the three hotels we compared on guest score.
Breakfast is the standout. Guests describe an extensive buffet with sweet and savoury choices, including waffles. Continental, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are listed.
The staff also win praise as a friendly, smiling team that gives a warm welcome and helpful service.
The pool divides opinion. The area is spacious and open late, but guests say the water is often cold and the facilities need maintenance. Room size, noise and general condition have not been assessed.
Price and how it compares with our other Blankenberge picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room) was €130.75 per night, about €262 in total. That was 19% below the sample median of €160.70. These are reference prices, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates, as a coastal town can cost more in summer.
Our Best Value pick, Mercure Blankenberge, is also a 4-star with the same 8.3 score, at €160.70 a night. You save about €30 a night here for the same rating.
The Luxury pick, Hotel Beach Palace by CW Hotel Collection, is a 5-star with an 8.8 score at €173.80 a night. For about €43 more per night it offers a higher score and an extra star.
At this price you get a 4-star with spa, pool, gym and free Wi-Fi. Whether breakfast and spa access are included is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared three eligible hotels in Blankenberge. After setting aside the upscale choice, Aazaert had the lowest eligible reference price.
It matched the Best Value pick on score while costing less, which makes it a clear Budget choice.
