Hotel Beach Palace by CW Hotel Collection is worth booking if you want the only five-star option in our Blankenberge shortlist, right on the seafront, with a breakfast guests keep praising. If you mind paying for parking or want the lowest rate in town, one of our other two picks will suit you better.

Who it suits and who should skip it

This is the Luxury pick for Blankenberge. It suits couples and families who want a beachfront address, a pool, a gym and a restaurant in the same building. Family rooms are listed, and the property is tagged as pet-friendly, so it can also work for travellers with a dog. Check the pet policy and any fee directly.

Skip it if price is your first concern. Guests regularly say the room rates and the parking fees feel expensive, even when they like the facilities.

Location and getting around

The address is Zeedijk 77 - 79, on the seafront promenade. The location score from guests is 9.5 out of 10.

The two sights in our data are a long way off. Ter Doest Abbey is about 6.7 km away, roughly 84 minutes on foot, and the Schipdonk Canal is about 7.2 km, roughly 90 minutes. Both are far, so plan on public transport or a taxi. These walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified on the ground.

What guests say

The score is 8.8 out of 10 from 5,800 reviews. Two things come up again and again on the positive side.

Breakfast is the first. Guests describe an extensive buffet with a wide range of hot and cold options, served with views over the sea. The listing gives the breakfast types as continental and buffet. The second is the staff, described as friendly and professional, with a warm welcome and helpful service.

The main complaint is value. People rate the facilities highly but often feel the rooms and the parking cost too much. That is worth knowing before you arrive by car.

Price and what you get compared with our other picks

Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults in one room, put this hotel at €173.80 per night, about €347.60 for both nights. The median for the sample was €160.70 per night, so it sits a little above the typical rate. These are not live quotes. Check today's price for your own dates.

Our Best Value pick, Mercure Blankenberge, is four stars, scores 8.3 and came in at €160.70 per night. The Budget pick, Hotel Aazaert by WP Hotels, is also four stars, scores 8.3 and was €130.75 per night. For roughly €13 more per night than the Mercure you get a fifth star, a higher guest score and a beachfront position.

Why it made our top 3

Only 3 eligible properties were compared in Blankenberge, so this is a small field. Our Luxury slot gives priority to five-star hotels, and this is an official five-star property. It also shared the top review score among the three.

The combination of five stars, 8.8 from 5,800 guests and a 9.5 location score made it the clear choice for the upscale slot.

Before you book

Room size, noise levels, the condition of the rooms, whether breakfast is included in your rate and the cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the room description and the rate conditions carefully.

If you are driving, ask about the parking price in advance, since that is the most common complaint. Pool and gym opening times and any fees should also be checked for your dates, especially in November.
