Yes, book it if you want a well-reviewed, low-cost base in Aveiro with a good breakfast and a quiet street. Just budget for extras, because guests say the spa, gym and parking are charged on top.

Ideal for couples and families on a budget who still want a hotel with a restaurant, air conditioning and family rooms. With more than 10,000 reviews and an 8.7 score, it is a safe, predictable choice.
Skip it if you want a spa day included in the price. The property lists a spa and gym, but guests say both carry an extra fee. If you want more polish and can pay more, our other two picks score above 9.
Location and getting around
The address is Rua Dr. Manuel das Neves, 65. Guests describe it as a quiet residential area, a 10 to 15 minute walk from the town centre, and give the location 8.9 out of 10.
The Cathedral of Aveiro is about 400 metres away, around 5 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. The Lighthouse of Praia da Barra is about 8.5 km away, well over an hour and a half on foot, so it is far: you will need public transport or a taxi to get to the coast.
Parking exists but is charged according to guests. Ask about the price if you are driving.
What guests say
The score is 8.7 out of 10 from 10,175 reviews. Among the 7 eligible hotels we compared in Aveiro, that is joint third on score, and the review count is very large.
Guests like the quiet street and the short walk into town. Breakfast is the other big plus: a generous buffet with plenty of fresh fruit and plant-based milk options.
The criticism is about extras. Room rates feel fair, but the spa, gym and parking all cost more, which can catch people out.
Price and how it compares with our other Aveiro picks
For a 2-night stay on 10 to 12 November 2026, the reference price seen was €64.50 per night for 2 adults, about €129 in total. That is 51% below the €130.62 median of the hotels we sampled. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Hotel do Alboi, scored 9.3 at €148.20 a night. Our Luxury pick, MS Collection Aveiro - Palacete Valdemouro, scored 9.6 at €240.62.
Even if you add spa or parking fees, this hotel will usually cost far less than the other two. What you give up is a few tenths of a point in guest score and a fourth star.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 7 eligible hotels in Aveiro. After setting aside the upscale choice, this had the lowest eligible reference price, and its score and review count are strong for a budget hotel.
