Hotel Argento Zacatecas
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Hotel Argento is a reasonable booking in Zacatecas if you are driving and want free parking, a gym and a historic-centre address at a fair price. If you are on foot and watching costs, our Budget pick scored higher for less money, so compare both before you decide.

This is our Best Value pick in Zacatecas. It suits road-trippers, since free parking is listed, and travellers who want a gym and a restaurant on site while staying a few minutes from the cathedral.
Be honest with yourself about service expectations. Some guests found the reception team friendly and helpful, while others met rude service or slow replies. If a warm welcome matters most, our Luxury pick has stronger staff feedback. Family rooms are not listed, so families should check room options.
Location and getting around
The address is Av. Hidalgo 407, in Zacatecas Historic Centre. The Cathedral Basilica of Zacatecas is about 0.2 km away, roughly 3 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. The location score is 9.6.
Guests describe a central setting near the historic district, within walking distance of local sites. Free parking is listed, which helps if you arrive by car. Confirm parking details with the hotel before you arrive.
What guests say
The score is 8.6 out of 10 from 200 reviews. That placed it joint eighth of the 10 eligible properties we compared, so it is not among the city's highest scorers. It is still a good score, and Zacatecas clearly has strong competition.
Location is the most praised point. Staff feedback is mixed: many guests call reception friendly and helpful, but some report rude moments or slow responses. Breakfast is listed as American style. Our data holds no other detailed guest comments, so read recent reviews for room comfort and noise.
Price and what you get compared with our other two picks
The reference price was €66.24 a night, about €132 for two nights. This is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates. It was 14% below the sample median of €76.93.
Our Budget pick, Posada Tolosa (4 stars, 8.8/10), was €41.23 a night, about €25 cheaper and with a higher score. Our Luxury pick, Hotel Casa Faroles Centro Histórico (5 stars, 9.4/10), was €107.79, about €42 more. Argento earns its place mainly through its listed facilities: free parking, a gym and a restaurant. If you do not need those, compare Posada Tolosa first.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible hotels in Zacatecas. The Best Value slot weighs guest score, number of reviews and reference price together, so it is not simply the cheapest or the best rated. Argento combined a good score, 200 reviews, a central address and a below-median price.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check them on the booking page.
