Hotel Barruada
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Hotel Barruada is worth booking if you want an officially 5-star hotel in Boa Vista that guests call spotless, at the lowest reference price of our three picks. Do not expect a long list of extras: the listed facilities are basic, and some guests feel the price is high for the amenities.

This is our Luxury pick for Boa Vista, with an official 5-star rating. It suits travellers who care most about a clean, orderly room and a good breakfast, and who want a 24-hour front desk. Family rooms and free parking are listed, so families and drivers are covered.
Breakfast is a highlight. Guests mention a varied buffet with fresh tapiocas.
Skip it if your idea of luxury includes a pool, spa or on-site restaurant. None of these is in the facility list we have, so treat them as not confirmed. If you want the best guest score in town, Roka Hotel Boutique rates higher.
Location and getting around
The address is Rua Manoel Felipe, 696. Guests rate the location 8.2 out of 10, a little below the overall score.
Our data has no list of nearby sights with distances for this address. Check a map for the places you plan to visit and work out whether you will need a taxi or public transport. Free parking is listed if you drive.
What guests say
The score is 8.5 out of 10 from 168 reviews, joint second of the five eligible properties in the sample.
Cleanliness gets the strongest praise: guests describe the interiors as spotless, organised and well maintained. Breakfast is also popular, with a varied selection, fresh tapiocas and tasty options.
On value, opinions differ. Many find the rates reasonable, but some feel prices are high relative to the amenities.
Price and what you get, compared with our other two picks
The reference price was €51.92 a night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is about €104 for two nights and 40% below the sample median of €86.20. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
The property lists free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk. A buffet breakfast is offered; inclusion in your rate is not confirmed.
ibis Styles Boa Vista, our Budget pick, was €64.94 a night with 3 stars and the same 8.5 score. Roka Hotel Boutique, our Best Value pick, was €108.17 with 4 stars and 9.2. Unusually, the Luxury pick is the cheapest of the three on these dates.
Why it made our top 3
We compared five eligible hotels in Boa Vista. Five-star hotels get priority for the Luxury slot, and Hotel Barruada is the officially rated five-star option with a joint second-place score. Its low reference price was a bonus, not the reason.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check them on the booking page for your dates.
If a pool, restaurant or other extras matter, ask the hotel directly, since they are not in our facility list. Some listings tag it as pet friendly; confirm before travelling with a pet.
