Yes, it is worth booking if you want a clean, simple room close to the old town and the station for well under the city median. Skip it if a proper on-site breakfast or extra facilities matter to you.

This is a one-star hotel, and it does not pretend otherwise. It suits couples, solo travellers and short-break visitors who spend the day on foot and need a clean, air-conditioned base for the night. Family rooms are listed, so small families on a budget can look at it too.
Guests consistently praise how clean it is. Reviewers describe the interiors as modern and spotless, which is not a given at this price level.
Skip it if you expect a hotel breakfast room, a restaurant or a spa. The facility list is short: free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a 24-hour front desk and family rooms. If you want more comfort for a little more money, our Best Value pick is the one to compare.
Location and getting around
The address is Carrer Barcelona 1. The location score from guests is 9.3, higher than the overall score.
By straight-line estimate, the Church of St. Felix is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. Girona Cathedral is around 0.9 km, about 11 minutes, and Sant Pere de Galligants is about 1 km, roughly 13 minutes. Real routes in an old town with steps and narrow streets can take longer.
Guests mention a short walk to the train station and to the historic centre, and supermarkets nearby. That makes it practical if you arrive by train or want to buy your own breakfast.
What guests say
The score is 8.6 out of 10 from 6,261 reviews. In our sample of 8 eligible hotels, it sat joint fourth on review score.
On the positive side, two points come up again and again: the location and the cleanliness. People mention modern interiors and fresh-smelling rooms.
The main complaint is breakfast. It is served at a nearby café rather than in the hotel, and guests say the food options are limited. If breakfast is part of how you judge a hotel, factor that in.
Price and how it compares with our other Girona picks
The reference price was €76.98 per night, about €154 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November) for 2 adults in one room. They are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
That rate was 22% below the sample median of €98.56 per night. For comparison, our Best Value pick, Hotel Costabella (3 stars, 9.0), came in at €101.98, and our Luxury pick, Hotel Nord 1901 (4 stars, 8.9), at €133.96.
So you save around €25 a night against Costabella and about €57 against Nord 1901. What you give up is star rating, facilities and a breakfast on site.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Girona. This one had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside, which is how our Budget slot is chosen.
It also keeps a solid 8.6 from more than six thousand reviews and a 9.3 for location.
Before you book
Room size, noise levels, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the room description and the booking conditions before you pay.
Breakfast details are not confirmed in our data beyond guest reports of an off-site café. Check whether it is included in your rate and what it costs if not.
Facility availability and any fees should be confirmed for your dates. If you travel with children, check that a family room is actually available for your nights.
