Hotel Nord 1901 suits couples and city-break travellers who want to step out of the door and be at Girona's main sights within minutes. Its location score of 9.8 out of 10 is the strongest number in its profile.
It also lists a pool, an outdoor pool, a garden and a terrace, which is unusual for a central address. Whether the outdoor pool is open in your travel month is not confirmed, so ask.
Skip it if you expect a 5-star level of service. This is a 4-star hotel that took our Luxury slot because it met our fallback rule. Skip it also if price per point of score is your main measure.
Location and getting around
The address is Nord 7-9, in Girona's Old Town. Everything in our data is close.
Walking times are straight-line estimates. Girona Cathedral is about 0.4 km away, roughly 5 minutes on foot. The Church of St. Felix and Sant Pere de Galligants are both about 0.5 km, around 6 minutes each.
For other sights and day trips we have no distance data. Check routes and transport options for anything outside the old town.
What guests say
Our data does not include a summary of what guests like or dislike here, so we cannot report common praise or complaints.
What we do know is that 2,287 guests gave it an average of 8.9 out of 10, with 9.8 for location. Before booking, read a few recent reviews and look for comments on noise, room size and the pool, since none of those has been assessed.
Price and how it compares with our other Girona picks
The reference price was €133.96 per night, about €268 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That is above the sample median of €98.56. Our Budget pick, Hotel BESTPRICE Girona, was €76.98 a night with an 8.6 score. Our Best Value pick, Hotel Costabella, was €101.98 with 9.0.
So you pay about €32 a night more than Hotel Costabella for a score that is 0.1 lower. What the extra buys, on paper, is the old town address, the 4-star rating and the listed pool and garden. Breakfast is listed as continental and buffet, but inclusion is not confirmed.
