This is our Best Value choice in Burgas. It suits couples, families and city-break travellers who want a central base with more facilities than a basic hotel. The property lists a gym, spa, pool, restaurant, family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a terrace.
Skip it if you are chasing the best guest score in town. Both of our other picks scored higher, and on the reference dates the five-star Luxury pick was only about €4 a night more. If price is the only factor, the Budget pick was €35 a night cheaper.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 21 Aleksandrovska St., in the Burgas Center area. Guests give the location 9.7 out of 10, which is very high.
The Archaeological Museum - Burgas is about 0.2 km away, around 3 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. Our data does not list other sights or the distance to the beach, so check a map if being near the sea matters to you. Walking times have not been verified.
What guests say
The overall score is 9.0 out of 10 from 3,259 reviews, a large and reliable sample. It ranked joint fourth of the 8 eligible hotels we compared, which says more about how strong the competition is than about any weakness here.
Our data does not include a summary of specific likes or dislikes for this hotel. That is a gap, so read a handful of recent reviews to see what guests praise and what they flag, especially on rooms, noise and breakfast.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was €95.00 a night, about €190 for both nights. That was 2% below the sample median of €97.13. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Luxor (3 stars, 9.2), came in at €60 a night. Our Luxury pick, Hotel Residence Promenade (5 stars, 9.5), was €99.27. That is an unusual spread: the Luxury pick was barely more expensive and scored higher. If both have rooms for your dates at similar prices, it is worth comparing the two directly.
A buffet breakfast is listed. Whether it is included in your rate has not been assessed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Burgas. Our Best Value slot balances guest score, number of reviews and price, and it is not always the cheapest option. Hotel Bulgaria combines a 9.0 score, more than 3,000 reviews, a central location scored 9.7 and a price just under the median. Few hotels in the sample matched that mix of evidence and facilities.
Before you book
