Hotel Residence Promenade
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Yes, book it if you want a 5-star base in central Burgas near the beach and Sea Garden at a price close to the city median. Look elsewhere if breakfast is a big part of your stay, since that is where guests complain most.

This is our Luxury pick in Burgas. It suits couples and families who want an official 5-star hotel within reach of the beach, the Sea Garden park and the pedestrian centre, but in a quiet spot.
Families will find family rooms listed, plus air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and free parking. A restaurant is on site.
Skip it if a rich breakfast spread is a deciding factor. Guests praise the taste but often say the choice is limited and not always fresh.
Location and getting around
You will find it at 32 Alexander Batenberg Str., in the Burgas Center area. The location score is 9.8 out of 10.
The Archaeological Museum of Burgas is about 0.4 km away, roughly 5 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. Guests say the beach, the Sea Garden and the pedestrian streets are close, while the hotel itself stays quiet.
The property lists beachfront among its features. We have not checked the exact walk to the sand, so look at a map before you book if that matters to you.
What guests say
The score is 9.5 out of 10 from 984 reviews, joint second among the 8 eligible properties in the provider sample.
Praise centres on two things. The location gets credit for being close to everything yet calm. Staff are called friendly, professional and attentive.
Breakfast is the weak point. Listed styles are continental, full English or Irish, vegan, buffet and breakfast to go. Guests find the food tasty, but many mention a limited selection and a lack of freshness.
Price and how it compares with our other Burgas picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults were €99.27 a night, about €199 in total. These are not live quotes: check today's price for your dates.
That is only slightly above the sample median of €97.13, which is unusual for a 5-star hotel.
Hotel Luxor, our Budget pick, came in at €60 a night with a score of 9.2 and 3 stars. Hotel Bulgaria, our Best Value pick, was €95 a night with a 9.0 score and 4 stars. For about €4 more a night than Hotel Bulgaria, you get a higher star rating and the best score of the three.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 hotels in Burgas. Five-star hotels get priority for our Luxury slot, and this one pairs that rating with a 9.5 score across nearly a thousand reviews.
The price close to the median helped too. It is rare for the Luxury pick to cost almost the same as the Best Value pick.
