Hotel Continentale
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book Hotel Continentale if you want to walk out of the door and reach the main sights of Arezzo in under 10 minutes. It was the priciest of our three picks for the reference dates, so if location is not your top priority, our other two Arezzo choices cost less with similar scores.

This is the pick for sightseers. If your plan is churches, piazzas and evenings in the pedestrian streets, the position is the reason to choose it. Families can check the listed family rooms.
Drivers and travellers counting every euro may prefer another option. Parking is not listed in our data, and the reference price was the highest of our three Arezzo picks.
Location and getting around Arezzo
The address is Piazza Guido Monaco 7, and the location score is 9.5 out of 10. The Basilica of San Francesco is about 0.3 km away, around 4 minutes on foot. Santa Maria della Pieve is about 0.5 km away, roughly 6 minutes. Arezzo Cathedral is about 0.6 km, around 8 minutes. All are straight-line estimates.
Guests describe a central setting near the pedestrian zone, shops and local restaurants. You should not need transport to see the old town.
Parking is not confirmed. If you are arriving by car, ask the hotel where to park and what it costs.
What guests say
Hotel Continentale scores 8.5 out of 10 from 800 reviews. That placed it 3rd of the 5 eligible hotels we compared. That is fewer than the 2,263 reviews behind Hotel Minerva's score, so this one rests on a smaller base.
Location and staff lead the praise. Guests describe the team as friendly and professional, with helpful service that includes assistance with luggage.
Breakfast gets mixed comments. Guests say the buffet offers variety, but some report cold cooked items and limited fresh fruit.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
The reference price was €160.68 per night, about €321 for the stay. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That was exactly the sample median. Our Budget pick, Etrusco Arezzo Hotel - Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, was €101 per night with 8.5 and 4 stars. Our Luxury pick, Hotel Minerva, was €115 per night with 8.6 and 4 stars, but about 19 minutes on foot from the cathedral.
So in Arezzo this Best Value pick cost about €46 to €60 more per night than the other two. What that buys is the central position. If you do not mind a walk of 15 to 20 minutes into town, Hotel Minerva gives a similar score for less.
Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre, a terrace, family rooms and air conditioning.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible hotels in Arezzo. Our Best Value slot balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price, so it is not always the cheapest. Hotel Continentale combined a solid score with a location score of 9.5, close to the main sights.
