Yes, book it if you want a well-reviewed, low-cost base between Segovia Cathedral and the Alcázar. Drivers should check parking first, because the on-site garage is tight and spaces are limited.

This 3-star hotel suits travellers who want to see Segovia on foot without paying for it. The cathedral is about 4 minutes away and the Alcázar about 5. Guests rate it 8.9 out of 10 across 4,524 reviews, and family rooms are listed, so it can work for parents with children too.
It is a good fit for couples on a short city break who care more about position and service than about extras. The facility list is modest: free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace.
Skip it if you are arriving in a large car and need guaranteed parking. Guests say the garage is secure but the spaces are tight and availability is limited.
Location and getting around
The address is Daoiz 7. Guests give the location 9.6 out of 10 and describe a central setting between the cathedral and the Alcázar, with views of the castle.
Segovia Cathedral is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. The Alcázar of Segovia is about 0.4 km, around 5 minutes. The Royal Palace of Riofrío is about 8.9 km away, around 111 minutes on foot, which is far, so plan on a car, taxi or public transport.
These walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been checked on the ground. Real routes are usually a little longer, so allow a few extra minutes.
What guests say
With 8.9 out of 10 from 4,524 reviews, the hotel holds a strong score on a large base. Guests praise the location and a friendly team that gives helpful recommendations and attentive service.
The weak point is parking. The garage on site is described as secure, but tight, and spaces run out. If you rely on it, ask the hotel before arrival whether a space can be held.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible hotels in Segovia. The Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is reserved, and the Don Felipe had it.
What makes it stand out is that the low price does not come with a weak score. It sat joint third of 10 on reviews and has a 9.6 location score. In Segovia, that is a strong combination for a budget pick.
