Hotel Filser
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Hotel Filser is worth booking if you want four stars, a spa and a strong breakfast in Oberstdorf for about half the price of our other two picks. If dated bathrooms or high bathtubs would bother you, read recent reviews first.

Budget is relative in Oberstdorf. Even our cheapest pick here is a four-star hotel at €193.80 per night, yet that is 48% below the local sample median.
It suits couples and families who want facilities without a luxury bill. The property lists a gym, spa, pool, restaurant, garden, terrace, family rooms and free parking. It is also tagged as pet-friendly, though rules and fees are not confirmed.
Skip it if bathroom quality matters a lot to you. Some guests find the bathrooms modern and spacious, while others mention dated fittings or high bathtubs, which can be awkward for anyone with limited mobility.

What guests say
Hotel Filser scores 8.8 out of 10 from 630 reviews, the largest review base of our three Oberstdorf picks. All three scored highly, and Filser placed third of the 3 eligible properties on review score.
Breakfast earns the most praise: a large buffet with a wide variety of fresh food and good coffee. Guests also describe friendly, attentive and helpful staff who give a warm welcome.
The mixed point is the bathroom. Opinions split between modern and spacious on one side, and dated fittings or high bathtubs on the other. This may depend on the room type, so read the room description.
Price compared with our other two Oberstdorf picks
The reference price was €193.80 per night, about €387.60 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room, not live quotes. The sample median was €371.70.
Hotel Exquisit, our Best Value pick, was €371.70 per night with 9.4. Hotel Franks, our Luxury pick, was €480 per night with 9.3 and five stars.
That makes Filser €177.90 per night cheaper than Exquisit and €286.20 cheaper than Franks. Over two nights the gap to Exquisit is about €355.80. The trade is a slightly lower guest score and some mixed bathroom reviews. Check today's price for your dates.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 3 eligible properties in Oberstdorf. Filser had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale slot was reserved, which made it our Budget choice.
Its 8.8 score from 630 reviews and listed spa and pool mean the lower price does not come with a bare-bones stay.
