This is our Budget pick for Olbia. It suits travellers who want to walk to restaurants, shops and the Basilica of San Simplicio, and who like a big breakfast to start the day. Family rooms are listed, along with a gym, a spa, a pool, a terrace and air conditioning.
If the pool is the reason you are booking, think again. Guests say the water is cold and the area gets no afternoon sun and has no parasols. And with an 8.2 score, this was the lowest-rated of the 5 eligible hotels in our sample.
Location and getting around Olbia
The address is Via Acquedotto Romano 9, in Olbia City Centre, with a location score of 9.3, the best of our three Olbia picks. Guests say the city centre, restaurants, shops and public transport links are a short walk away.
On straight-line estimates, the Basilica of San Simplicio is about 0.6 km away, roughly 8 minutes on foot. The Giants' grave of Su Mont'e s'Abe is about 5.7 km, around 71 minutes, which is far. You will need public transport or a taxi to get there.
These walking times are estimates, not measured routes. Our data does not include the distance to the airport or the port, so check a map if you have an early flight or ferry.
What guests say
Hotel For You holds 8.2 out of 10 from 1,165 reviews. The location is the most common compliment, followed by breakfast: guests describe a large buffet with fresh fruit, cakes and savoury options.
The pool draws the main criticism. Guests call the area clean, but say the water is cold and there is no afternoon sun or shade from parasols. Note that this feedback is about the pool area, and opening dates in November are not confirmed.
Price compared with our other Olbia picks
The reference price was €98.25 a night, about €196.50 for two nights, roughly 5% below the sample median of €103. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
Jazz Hotel, our Best Value pick, scored 8.7 at €99 a night, only 75 cents more. Felix Hotels - Hotel Felix Olbia, our Luxury pick, scored 9.0 at €156.20. All three are 4-star hotels.
So the honest trade is this: Hotel For You wins on walkability to the old centre, while Jazz Hotel wins on score and free parking for almost the same rate. Breakfast styles listed here are continental, Italian, vegetarian, vegan, American and buffet. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible properties in Olbia. After setting aside the upscale choice, Hotel For You had the lowest eligible reference price, which gave it the Budget slot. Its strong location score and large guest sample backed that up.
