Hotel Le Palace
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want a clean, cheap room in Gandhipuram for about €27 a night and you will not spend much time in it. Skip it if room size matters, or if you can stretch a little, because our other two Coimbatore picks score higher.

Hotel Le Palace is our Budget pick in Coimbatore. It is a three-star hotel that guests praise for cleanliness and polite staff. It suits short stays, solo travellers and couples who want a tidy base and a low bill.
It is less suited to anyone who wants space. Some guests feel the price is high for the size of the rooms. The guest score is also the lowest of our three Coimbatore picks.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 35-38, 6th Street in Gandhipuram, with a location score of 8.7 out of 10.
Gass Forest Museum is the closest measured sight, about 1.9 km away or an estimated 24 minutes on foot. Athar Jamad Mosque is about 2.9 km, an estimated 36 minutes, and Perur Pateeswarar Temple, Coimbatore about 7.1 km, an estimated 89 minutes. Those two are far on foot, so you will need public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates, and real routes are usually longer.
Free parking is listed, which helps if you are driving.
What guests say
The score is 8.1 out of 10 from 216 guest reviews. That ranked it seventh of 8 eligible properties on score, so this is a price-led pick rather than a score-led one.
Guests like the cleanliness, describing the property as neat, well maintained and kept to a high standard. They also mention a courteous, polite and attentive team and a warm welcome.
On value, opinions split. Some find the rates reasonable, while others think the prices are high relative to the room size.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
The reference price was €26.80 a night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates. The sample median was €77.16 a night, so this was 65% below the median.
Our Best Value pick, Hotel Prince Gardens, was €33.63 a night with a score of 8.3 and three stars. Our Luxury pick, O by Tamara Coimbatore, was €71.65 with a score of 9.2 and five stars. The gap to Prince Gardens is under €7 a night for a slightly better score, so compare both for your dates.
Listed facilities are a restaurant, free parking, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. A halal breakfast is listed, but whether it is included in the reference price was not assessed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Coimbatore. The Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is set aside. Hotel Le Palace had that price at €26.80, and its cleanliness comments and 216 reviews give some confidence in it.
