Hotel Prince Gardens is our Best Value pick in Coimbatore. It is a three-star hotel at 28, Kalingarayan Street, Ram Nagar, Gandhi Puram. It suits travellers who want a straightforward room, a restaurant on site and a price well under the city median, and drivers who need free parking.
If you want more certainty, or more comfort, our Luxury pick costs about twice as much and has a much higher score. If every euro counts, our Budget pick is about €7 a night cheaper.
Location and getting around
The location score is 8.5 out of 10. Two measured sights are each about 2.2 km away: Gass Forest Museum and Athar Jamad Mosque, both an estimated 28 minutes on foot. That is walkable for many people, though it is not a short stroll.
Perur Pateeswarar Temple, Coimbatore is about 6.9 km away, an estimated 86 minutes on foot. That is far, so plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates, and real routes are usually longer.
What guests say
The score is 8.3 out of 10 from 104 guest reviews, fifth of the 8 eligible properties in the sample. It has the fewest reviews of our three Coimbatore picks, so treat the score with a little caution.
We have no summarised guest comments for this hotel, positive or negative. We cannot tell you what guests say about staff, cleanliness or noise. Read several recent reviews before you book.
Price and what you get against our other two picks
The reference price was €33.63 a night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates. The sample median was €77.16, so this was 56% below the median.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Le Palace, was €26.80 a night with a score of 8.1, also in Gandhipuram. Our Luxury pick, O by Tamara Coimbatore, was €71.65 with a score of 9.2 and five stars. Prince Gardens sits close to the Budget option on price, with a slightly better score and a garden and terrace on the facility list.
Listed facilities are a restaurant, free parking, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. A buffet breakfast is listed, but whether it is included in the reference price was not assessed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Coimbatore. The Best Value slot balances guest score, the number of reviews and the reference price, so it is not necessarily the cheapest. Prince Gardens offered a solid score at less than half the median price, which made it the most balanced middle option.
Before you book
Check whether breakfast is in your rate and read the cancellation terms. Room size, noise and renovation condition have not been assessed. Since there are no summarised guest comments, look at recent photos and reviews to judge the rooms.
