This is our Luxury pick in Fortaleza. It suits couples and families who want the beach right across the road, a pool, a spa and a gym, and who are willing to pay roughly four times the price of our Budget pick.
Family rooms are listed. Travellers who mainly want a cheap bed near the sea should look at our other two picks instead, and drivers should note the parking complaints below.
Location and getting around
The address is Av. Beira Mar, 2600, in Meireles. Guests describe it as facing the beach and the craft market, with restaurants nearby. The location score is 9.8 out of 10, the strongest figure in its data, and the property lists itself as beachfront.
Other sights need transport. St. Joseph's Cathedral is about 3 km away, roughly 38 minutes on foot, and Praia do Futuro about 6.3 km, around 79 minutes. Both are far to walk, so use public transport or a taxi. These walking times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The hotel scores 9.1 out of 10 from 5,925 reviews, joint first among the 12 eligible properties we compared. That is the largest review base of our three Fortaleza picks.
Breakfast is a highlight. It is a buffet, and guests mention fresh coconut water, juices, cakes and a tapioca station that cooks to order.
The main complaint is extra costs. Room rates are seen as reasonable, but guests criticise high charges for parking and for food and drink in the hotel.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 12 eligible hotels in Fortaleza. The Luxury slot prioritises official 5-star hotels, with a 4-star fallback only at 8.5 or above.
Luzeiros has 5 stars, the top score in the sample and nearly 6,000 reviews. Listed facilities include beachfront access, a gym, a spa, a pool, a restaurant, family rooms, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Availability, opening times and any fees must be checked for your dates.
Before you book
Ask about parking charges if you are arriving by car, since this is the most common complaint. Check menu prices too if you plan to eat at the hotel.
Confirm whether breakfast is in your rate. Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed, and a sea view is not confirmed for any room type, so read the room description closely.
