Pauli Boutique Hotel is worth booking if you want a well-rated 4-star base in Mucuripe with a breakfast guests keep praising, at a mid-range price. Skip it if spotless housekeeping is your top priority, because a minority of reviews mention lapses.

This is our Best Value pick in Fortaleza. It suits couples and families who want a 4-star hotel with a gym, a restaurant and a solid breakfast, and who are happy to pay a bit more than the cheapest option in town.
Family rooms are listed by the property, and the data also tags the hotel as pet-friendly. Pet rules and any fees are not confirmed, so ask the hotel directly before you travel with an animal.
Travellers who are very sensitive to cleanliness should read recent reviews first. Some guests report sticky floors, mould and missed housekeeping, even though most describe the rooms as generally tidy.
Location and getting around Mucuripe
The hotel sits at 3806 Avenida da Abolição in Mucuripe. Guests say it is close to the beach and to Meireles, and that a large supermarket is right next door, which helps if you want snacks, water or simple supplies.
The location score in our data is 8.5 out of 10.
Two well-known sights are far on foot. St. Joseph's Cathedral is about 4.3 km away, roughly 54 minutes walking, and Praia do Futuro is about 5.1 km away, around 64 minutes. Both walking times are straight-line estimates, so plan on public transport or a taxi for either.
What guests say
The overall score is 8.9 out of 10 from 2,203 guest reviews, which put the hotel in joint fourth place among the 12 eligible properties we compared.
Breakfast is the clear highlight. The data lists continental and buffet styles, and guests mention a varied spread with fresh cakes, juices, and eggs and tapioca made to order.
The main complaint is room cleanliness. Most rooms are described as tidy, but there are reports of sticky floors, mould and housekeeping that did not happen.
Price and what you get compared with our other Fortaleza picks
The reference price we saw was €126.37 per night, or about €252.74 for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is a reference price, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
For context, the median across the hotels we compared was €104.23 per night, so Pauli sits above the middle of the market.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Encontro do Sol, is a 3-star hotel scoring 8.7 at €50.54 per night. Our Luxury pick, Hotel Luzeiros Fortaleza, is a 5-star scoring 9.1 at €202.83 per night. Pauli lands between the two on both price and score, with 4 stars.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 12 eligible hotels in Fortaleza. The Best Value slot goes to the property that balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price, and it is not necessarily the cheapest.
Pauli earned the slot with a high score from a large review base and a facilities list that includes a gym, a pool, a restaurant, a garden, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Availability, opening times and any fees for those facilities must be checked for your dates.
Before you book
Check whether breakfast is included in your rate, as breakfast inclusion has not been assessed. The same goes for room size, noise levels, renovation condition and cancellation terms.
Ask about the pool and spa if they matter to you. A pool is listed among the facilities, but a spa is not confirmed in the facilities data.
If you travel with a pet, confirm the policy in writing. Then compare today's price against the €126.37 reference figure before deciding.
