Couples on a city break will feel at home here. So will anyone who wants to walk out of the door and be at the main churches and the belfry within minutes. The property lists a spa, a gym, a garden and a terrace, which suits travellers who like some downtime after sightseeing.
Family rooms are listed, and free parking is on the facilities list, so it can work for families arriving by car.
Skip it if you are sharing a room with a friend or colleague and want a closed bathroom. Some guests dislike the open layout and glass doors.
Location and getting around
You will find the hotel at Groeningestraat 17. The location score is very high at 9.6, and guests describe the setting as central but quiet, within walking distance of the market square and shops.
Distances are short. The Church of Our Lady is about 0.1 km away, roughly a minute on foot. Saint Martin's Church is about 0.2 km, around 3 minutes. The Belfry of Kortrijk is about 0.3 km, around 4 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, but at this range the real walk will barely differ.
For a short stay you will not need a car in town. If you bring one, free parking is listed. Confirm it when you book.
What guests say
Across 1,124 reviews, guests give it 9.0 out of 10. Breakfast is the standout: an extensive buffet with fresh ingredients and eggs cooked to order. The other recurring praise is the quiet, central location.
The main criticism is the bathroom. Guests describe bathrooms as spacious and modern, but some do not like the open layout and glass doors. It is a matter of taste, though it matters if you are not travelling with a partner.
