Yes, it is worth booking if you want a simple, central room in Sorrento at a low price and plan to spend your days out. Skip it if you expect more than a 3-star standard, since some guests feel the quality does not match the cost.

Hotel Nice works best for travellers who use their room as a base and spend the day in town. Couples, solo travellers and anyone on a budget will find the location and price hard to beat in our sample.
There is a gluten-free option among the listed breakfast styles, which is useful if you have that need. Confirm it directly with the hotel.
If you want a pool, a spa or a long list of facilities, this is not the place. The property lists free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a terrace, and not much more.
Location and getting around
The address is Corso Italia 257, in Sorrento City Centre. Guests rate the location 9.7 out of 10, and they mention being within walking distance of the main square, the port, shops and places to eat.
Piazza Tasso is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. Museum Correale is a similar 0.3 km, also about 4 minutes. Sorrento Cathedral is about 0.5 km, around 6 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, so real routes may take a minute or two longer.
Parking is not listed in our data. If you are driving, check with the hotel before you arrive.
What guests say
With 1,022 reviews, the guest score is 8.8. Two points stand out. The location is central and walkable. The staff are described as friendly, helpful and welcoming, and ready to help with requests.
On the other side, value is debated. Many find the rates reasonable for the area, but some guests think the price is high for the quality they got. With a reference price this far below the median, expect a straightforward 3-star stay rather than polish.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov, 2 adults, one room) was €75.00 per night, so about €150 for both nights. The median across our sample was €189.00 per night, which puts Hotel Nice around 60% below. This is not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Spicy, was €68.00 per night with a score of 8.4. That is only €7 less per night, for a lower score. Our Luxury pick, Grand Hotel La Favorita, scored 9.6 at €339.00 per night.
For a few euros more than the Budget option, Hotel Nice gives you a better guest score and a very strong location rating.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 11 eligible properties in Sorrento. On guest score alone, Hotel Nice was joint 7th, so it is not the top-rated hotel in town.
It earned the Best Value slot because it combines a solid 8.8 from more than a thousand reviews with a reference price 60% below the sample median. Our Best Value category balances score, review count and price, and is not simply the cheapest choice.
