Hotel Spicy
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want the cheapest decent room in our Sorrento sample and do not mind a 20-minute walk into town. Look closely at our Best Value pick too, because it scored higher for only about €7 more per night.

Budget travellers, couples and families who want to spend their money on day trips rather than the room are the right fit. Family rooms, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a terrace are listed.
Breakfast lovers may be pleasantly surprised. It is the thing guests praise most.
Skip it if you want to step out of the door into the old town, or if you need cheap parking. Guests say on-site parking fees are high, and the centre is a walk of around 20 minutes.
Location and getting around
The address is Via Capo 82/84, and guests rate the location 8.0 out of 10, a fair but not outstanding mark.
Sorrento Cathedral is 1.5 km away, about 19 minutes on foot. Piazza Tasso and Museum Correale are both 1.7 km away, around 21 minutes each. These are straight-line estimates, so the actual walk may be longer. None of these sights are over 30 minutes away, so you can manage on foot if you are happy to walk.
What guests say
The score is 8.4 out of 10 from 787 reviews. That is a good number in absolute terms, but it was the joint lowest of the 11 eligible hotels we compared in Sorrento. This is a city where well-rated hotels are common.
Breakfast leads the praise: an abundant buffet with fresh cakes, pastries and savoury options. Staff are described as friendly and welcoming, and they help with local advice and bookings.
The main complaint is parking. Room rates feel fair to guests, but the on-site parking fee does not.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
The reference price was €68 a night, about €136 for two nights, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is 64% below the €189 median. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Here is the honest comparison. Hotel Nice, our Best Value pick, was €75 a night with a score of 8.8 and the same 3 stars. For €7 more per night, many travellers will prefer it. Grand Hotel La Favorita, our Luxury pick, was €339 a night with 9.6 and 5 stars, a very different budget.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 11 eligible hotels. Our Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is reserved, and at €68 this was it. Its 787 reviews also mean the 8.4 score is well grounded.
