Location and getting around
The hotel is at No. 268, Linsen 4th Road, in Qianzhen District. Guests give the location 9.3 out of 10.
85 Sky Tower is about 0.6 km away, roughly 8 minutes on foot. Holy Rosary Cathedral is about 1.8 km away, close to 23 minutes on foot.
Kaohsiung Mosque is about 4.2 km away, around 53 minutes on foot. That is far, so take public transport or a taxi. Free parking is listed, which helps if you are driving. All walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
Staff earn steady praise. Guests describe a friendly, professional and attentive team that gives helpful service.
Breakfast is the other highlight. Reviewers mention a buffet with a wide variety of fresh options and table service for bread. Continental, Asian and American styles are listed.
The bathrooms divide opinion. They are spacious with large tubs, but some guests report poor drainage and dim lighting. It is a minor issue for most, but worth knowing.
Price and what you get, compared with our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov, 2 adults, one room) were €145.94 a night, about €292 for the two nights. The sample median was €114.30 a night. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Skyone Hotel, cost €21.16 a night, 3 stars, with a guest score of 8.1. Our Best Value pick, Legend Hotel Kaohsiung Pier2, was €30.80 a night, 3 stars, with a score of 9.0.
The extra money buys the highest guest score of the three, five-star facilities and a large breakfast buffet. If you will barely use the hotel beyond sleeping, the Best Value pick is hard to argue with.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 19 eligible hotels in Kaohsiung. Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung shared the top review score position, 9.3 from 1,161 reviews. For our Luxury slot, five-star hotels are prioritised and a four-star fallback must score at least 8.5.
The five-star rating is estimated by the property, not an official grading, but the guest score and location score of 9.3 both support the choice.
