This three-star hotel suits couples, solo travellers and families who want a high guest score without paying much. Family rooms are listed, along with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk. Guests also rate the breakfast well.
Skip it if silence at night is essential. Soundproofing gets mixed comments. Some guests hear noise from corridors and next door, while others find it quiet. Facilities such as a gym or pool are not listed in our data, so do not count on them.
Location and getting around
The hotel sits at No. 67, Wufu 4th Road, in the Yancheng area of Kaohsiung. Guests give the location 9.3 out of 10, and they mention a short walk to Pier 2 Art Center, public transport and local restaurants.
Holy Rosary Cathedral is about 0.6 km away, roughly 8 minutes on foot. 85 Sky Tower is 1.8 km, about 23 minutes. Kaohsiung Mosque is 5.7 km, around 71 minutes, which is far, so use public transport or a taxi for that one. All times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
With 4,321 reviews and an average of 9.0 out of 10, guests are broadly happy. The location near Pier 2 is the top theme. The breakfast buffet comes next: guests describe a wide variety of dishes in a bright dining area.
Noise is the weak point. Reports differ from room to room, so it is worth asking for a quiet room when you book.
Price and how it stacks up against our other two picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 was €30.80 per night for 2 adults. That is roughly 73% below the €114.30 median of the hotels we sampled. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Skyone Hotel, our Budget pick, was €21.16 per night with a score of 8.1. You save about €10 a night there but drop almost a full point. Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung, our Luxury pick, scored 9.3 at €145.94, nearly five times the price. Legend gives you a score close to the luxury option for a fraction of its cost.
A buffet breakfast is listed. Whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed, so check before you pay.
Why it made our top 3
We looked at 19 eligible properties in Kaohsiung. Legend shared ninth place on guest score, which is mid-table, but its price is far below the sample median and its review count is large. That balance of score, review volume and price earned it our Best Value slot. It is not the cheapest option, and it does not need to be.
Before you book
Room size, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read recent reviews on these points. Ask for a room away from lifts or busy corridors if noise bothers you. If you plan to drive, parking is not listed in our data, so confirm with the hotel.
