This is our Budget pick in Pontresina, though the word needs context. Every hotel in our sample here was expensive, and this one was simply the least expensive of the three we selected.
It suits couples and families who want a full set of facilities: the property lists a gym, spa, pool, restaurant, garden, terrace and family rooms. Guests score it 8.7 out of 10 from 304 reviews.
Skip it if you are judging purely on value. That is the main complaint in guest feedback. For a little more money, our Best Value pick had a clearly higher score in our reference data.
Location and getting around
The address listed is simply Pontresina, in the area the provider rates as the top-rated part of the village. The location score is 9.5.
Guests describe a quiet setting in the centre of the village, near the hotel park. We do not have walking times to specific sights for this hotel, so check the map against the places you plan to visit.
Transport options to nearby areas are not covered in our data. Ask the hotel how best to reach the places on your list.
What guests say
Staff draw the most praise. Guests describe a friendly, professional team giving helpful and attentive service.
The location is the other strong point: central yet quiet, close to the hotel park.
On the negative side, some guests feel high prices for rooms and dining do not always match the quality. If you plan to eat in, look at menu prices before you commit to half board or dinners.
Price and what you get against our other two picks
The reference price was €334.77 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, about €669.54 for both nights. It is not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.

We compared only 3 eligible properties in Pontresina. Hotel Saratz had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside. It ranked third of three on review score. That is still a good score, but it is the lowest of our trio here.
