Hotel THB Flora is worth booking if you want a pool, a gym and a quiet base in Puerto del Carmen for well under half the price of our other two picks. Skip it if bed comfort matters a lot to you, because mattresses and pillows are the main complaint.

This is our Budget pick in Puerto del Carmen. It is a 3-star hotel with a pool, a gym, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and family rooms listed by the property. That makes it a sensible fit for couples and families who want a few facilities without paying resort prices.
Guests describe the area as quiet, so light sleepers who do not want a nightlife strip outside the window may be happy here. Travellers who want a 4 or 5-star finish, or who are fussy about beds, should read the complaints below first. Its guest score of 8.2 was the lowest of the 9 eligible hotels in the sample, even though it is still a good score.
Location and how to get around
The address is Reina Sofia, 25, in the area the provider labels the top-rated part of Puerto del Carmen. The location score is 8 out of 10. Guests say the hotel sits in a quiet area a short walk from the old town and the harbour.
We have no verified walking times to specific sights for this hotel, so treat any distance claims with care. Put the address into a map app before you book and check the route to the harbour, the beach you plan to use and any restaurants you have in mind.
What guests say
The score is 8.2 out of 10 from 1,773 reviews, which is a large sample. Staff get the clearest praise: guests call the team friendly, helpful and polite, and say requests are handled quickly.
The weak point is sleep. Some guests find the mattresses comfortable, but others report sagging springs and flat pillows. Room size, noise levels and the state of the rooms have not been assessed, so look at recent reviews and photos for the room type you pick.
Price and value against our other two picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was €137 a night. The sample median was €208.32, so this hotel came in about 34% below the middle of the market. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Seaside Los Jameos, scored 9.1 at 4 stars for €326.40 a night. Our Luxury pick, La Isla y el Mar, Hotel Boutique, scored 9.2 at 5 stars for €384.30. You pay far less at THB Flora, and you accept a lower score and fewer stars in return.
Breakfast is a buffet, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed. Check the rate details before paying.
