By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.

Worth booking if you are driving to Auburn and want to spend about half of what our other two picks cost. Choose another hotel if consistent housekeeping matters more to you than price.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

This is our Budget pick in Auburn, Alabama. It suits drivers, since free parking is listed, and visitors who want quick access to the university and the interstate. With 471 reviews and a score of 8.3 out of 10, it has the largest review base of our three Auburn picks.

Skip it if you are fussy about cleanliness. Guests often find rooms tidy and renovated, but some report stained linens or dirty bathrooms. Also skip it if you want to walk everywhere: our other two picks are the ones guests describe as walkable to campus and downtown.

Location and getting around

The address is 135 Spirit Drive, and the location score is 9.0. Guests mention convenient access to the university, the interstate highway and nearby restaurants.

We do not have verified walking distances to campus or to other sights from this hotel. Check the route on a map before you book, and assume you will use a car or taxi for most trips until you have confirmed otherwise.

What guests say

The location wins most praise, mainly for easy access by car to the university, the highway and places to eat.

Cleanliness is the mixed point. Many units are described as tidy and renovated. Still, some guests mention stained linens or dirty bathrooms. If your room is not up to standard, ask the front desk straight away; a 24-hour front desk is listed.

Price and what you get compared with our other picks

The reference price was €97.80 per night, about €196 for two nights, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is 23% below the sample median of €126.93. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.

Our other Auburn picks score higher and cost far more. The Hotel at Auburn University, our Best Value pick, scored 9.5 at €206.04 per night. Graduate by Hilton Auburn, AL, our Luxury pick, scored 9.1 at €171.28. La Quinta saves you roughly €73 to €108 a night. What you give up is the top-end guest score and the walk-to-campus location.

Listed facilities include a fitness center, air conditioning, free parking and a 24-hour front desk. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are not confirmed in our data, so check both before you book. The hotel is listed as 4 stars, but the guest score is a better guide to what to expect than the star rating.

Why it made our top 3

We compared 8 eligible hotels in Auburn. On guest score this one was at joint position 7 of 8, so it is not a top scorer here, where competition is strong. It earned the Budget slot because it had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside, and 8.3 from 471 reviews is still a sound result.

Before you book

Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check them on the booking page. Confirm whether Wi-Fi and breakfast are available and included. The listing is tagged as pet friendly, so check the pet policy and fees. Gym hours should be checked for your dates.
