This is our Luxury pick for Norwich. It suits drivers, couples and families who want a relaxed stay with facilities on site and are happy to go into the city by car. Guests rate it 8.9 out of 10 from 1,566 reviews, the joint top score in our sample.
Families will find family rooms listed, plus a pool, spa, gym, restaurant, garden, terrace and free parking.
It does not suit a city break on foot. The hotel is in Hethersett, and Norwich Castle and the cathedrals are around two hours away walking. Budget-minded guests should also know that some reviewers report extra charges for the pool and room service.
Location: Hethersett, well outside the city
The listed address is Hethersett, outside Norwich itself. The location sub-score is 9.2, which reflects how guests rate the setting, not closeness to the centre.
St John the Baptist Cathedral is about 9 km away, roughly 113 minutes on foot. Norwich Castle is 9.7 km, around 121 minutes, and Norwich Cathedral is 10.1 km, about 126 minutes. These are far, so plan on driving, a taxi or public transport for every trip into town.
Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
Staff get consistent praise. Reviewers describe a friendly, helpful and professional team and a warm welcome.
Breakfast is the second highlight: a generous buffet with fresh hot and cold options. Listed styles include continental, full English or Irish, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and buffet.
The complaint is about extras. Guests find room rates reasonable but mention frequent additional charges, specifically for the pool and room service.
Price and how it compares with our other Norwich picks
The reference price was 187.91 euros per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room. That is about 376 euros for two nights, against a sample median of 164.07 euros per night. This is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, The Maids Head Hotel, scored 8.6 at 174.86 euros per night. Our Budget pick, Holiday Inn Norwich City by IHG, also scored 8.6, at 129.98 euros. Park Farm is about 13 euros a night more than the Maids Head, with a slightly higher score and more on-site facilities, but a much less central location.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Norwich. The Luxury slot prioritises five-star hotels; with none fitting, a four-star needs at least 8.5 to qualify. Park Farm holds an official four-star rating and scored 8.9.
That score was joint 1st of the 8, built on more than 1,500 reviews, and the full set of leisure facilities made it the strongest upscale option.
