Prêtáloger Verdi 18 is our Best Value pick in Naples. Guests describe it as apartments, serviced daily, so it suits couples, small families and independent travellers who like a bit of space and do not need a hotel bar or spa. Family rooms and air conditioning are the only listed facilities.
There is no star rating in our data, and no breakfast information either. If a hotel breakfast is part of your plan, this may not be the right fit unless the property confirms otherwise. Travellers who want full hotel services should compare it with our Luxury pick.
Location and getting around
The address is Via Verdi 18 in Plebiscito, and the location score is a perfect 10/10. Teatro di San Carlo is just 0.2 km away, about 3 minutes on foot. Guests mention being close to the port, a metro station and Galleria Umberto I.
The National Archaeological Museum is 1.6 km, around 20 minutes. Museo di Capodimonte is 3.1 km, about 39 minutes on foot, which is far; plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The score is 9.3/10 from 254 reviews, which put it first of 36 eligible properties in our sample on review score. The review count is modest compared with large hotels, so each new review moves the average more.
Guests praise two things above all. The location, as a central base near the port and the metro. And the cleanliness: spotless apartments serviced daily, with fresh water and coffee refills. Our data contains no recurring complaints, which is a good sign, but read recent reviews to see what matters to you.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov, 2 adults, one room) was about €142 per night, roughly €283 in total. The sample median was about €133, so this sits 6% above it. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Nettuno, a 1-star hotel, was about €82 per night with an 8.1 score. Our Luxury pick, ROMEO Napoli, a 5-star hotel, was about €639 per night with an 8.5 score. Verdi 18 scored higher than both. ROMEO costs roughly four and a half times as much per night and offers a spa, gym and restaurant in return.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 40 hotels in Naples. Prêtáloger Verdi 18 took the Best Value slot because it had the strongest review-confidence score at or near the sample median price. A first-place score and a perfect location score at that price made the choice simple.
