Puerto Amarras Hotel & Suites is worth booking if you want a quieter stay by the port with spacious rooms and a pool, and you do not mind paying more than the city median. Couples and families who like space fit well; anyone who cares most about breakfast or the lowest price should compare our other two picks first.

This 3-star hotel sits in the port area, away from the noise of the city centre according to guests. Rooms are described as spacious, and the property lists a pool, a restaurant, a terrace, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
That makes it a good match for families and for travellers who want room to spread out. Skip it if breakfast is a big part of your day, since it draws the main complaint, or if you want to spend as little as possible.
Location and getting around
The address is 1º de Enero 27 - Dique II - Puerto de Santa Fe. All Saints Cathedral, Santa Fe is about 1.1 km away, around 14 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate.
Guests call the area picturesque and mention river views. Note that views will vary by room and are not confirmed for any specific room type. The location score is 8.7 out of 10.
Being away from the centre is the point here, but it also means a walk or a short ride for most errands. Parking is not listed in our data, so ask if you plan to drive.
What guests say
The guest score is 8.2 out of 10 from 299 reviews, joint second of three eligible properties in the provider sample.
Guests like the setting and the size of the rooms. The weak spot is breakfast: some describe limited variety with basic options and coffee that is sometimes served cold. Breakfast is listed as continental and buffet.
Price and what you get against our other Santa Fe picks
The reference price was €124.36 a night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. The sample median was €106.90. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Hernandarias, was €49.87 a night with a score of 8.1 and 3 stars. Our Luxury pick, InterTower Hotel, was €106.90 a night with a score of 8.8 and 4 stars.
Be clear on this: in our reference data the Luxury pick was cheaper and scored higher. Puerto Amarras earns its place through its riverside port setting, spacious rooms and pool. If those do not matter to you, InterTower may be the better deal on your dates.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 3 eligible hotels in Santa Fe. The Best Value slot balances guest score, the number of reviews and the reference price, and it is not meant to be the cheapest option.
Puerto Amarras combined a solid score, a good volume of reviews and a distinct setting by the river. That gave travellers a real alternative to a city-centre stay.
