Road trippers and families are the natural fit. Free parking, family rooms, a gym, a pool, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are all listed, and guests single out the breakfast.
Travellers without a car should think twice. Every sight in our data is more than an hour away on foot.
Skip it, too, if surprise charges annoy you. Some guests report unexpected deposits and extra fees, and that is the main complaint we found.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 2036 Overland Avenue, with a location score of 8.6 out of 10. That score likely reflects convenience for drivers more than walkability, judging by the distances below.
ZooMontana is about 5 km away, around 63 minutes on foot. St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral is about 5.4 km, around 68 minutes, and Billings Montana Temple is about 7.8 km, around 98 minutes. These are straight-line estimates. All three are far, so you will need a car, public transport or a taxi.
What guests say
The score is 8.0 out of 10 from 611 reviews, enough to trust the main themes.
Breakfast earns the most specific praise. Guests mention fresh hot meals cooked to order, along with fruit, pastries and cold options. The property lists its breakfast as continental, so check what is served on your dates. Cleanliness is the other strong point, with rooms described as spotless, tidy and well maintained.
On the negative side, guests generally see the rates as affordable, but some were caught out by deposits and extra fees they did not expect.
Price and how it compares with our other Billings picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, 10 to 12 November for 2 adults in one room, was €97.19 a night, about €194 for both nights. The sample median was €120.33, so this hotel was 19% below it. These are reference prices, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Boothill Inn and Suites, scored 8.9 at €129.80 a night, about €33 more for nearly a full point higher. Our Luxury pick, Northern Hotel, also scored 8.9, at €206.16 a night, more than double this rate.
What you save here is real, but so is the gap in guest score. If the Boothill price is close for your dates, it is worth a look.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible hotels in Billings. After setting aside the upscale choice, this one had the lowest eligible reference price. It had the lowest review score of the 9, yet still reached 8.0, which is the trade our Budget pick is meant to offer.
Before you book
Ask the hotel directly about deposit amounts and any extra fees, and get the answer in writing if you can. Check whether breakfast is included in your rate and read the cancellation terms, which we did not assess.
Confirm pool and gym hours for November. Room size, noise and renovation condition have not been assessed either, so recent reviews are worth a scan.
