Quest Suva is our Budget pick in Suva, a 4-star property on the corner of Renwick Road and Pratt Street. Budget is relative here: Suva hotels in our sample were not cheap, and this was the lowest eligible price.
It suits business travellers and short city stays where walking to shops matters. It is less suited to people who are fussy about cleanliness, given some mixed guest reports, or to anyone who wants a pool or spa, as neither is listed.
Location and getting around
Guests praise the central position, within walking distance of shops and city amenities, and rate the location 9.2 out of 10.
Straight-line estimates from the hotel: Thurston Gardens is 1.1 km, about 14 minutes on foot. The Fiji Museum is 1.2 km, about 15 minutes. Sacred Heart Cathedral, Suva is 1.8 km, about 23 minutes. All three are walkable in good weather. Free parking is listed if you have a car.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.5 out of 10 from 278 reviews, second of the 3 eligible hotels in our sample. Staff get warm comments: friendly, attentive, helpful and accommodating.
Room cleanliness is the weak spot. Some guests find the rooms tidy, but others report musty smells, grime and missed housekeeping. The pattern is inconsistent rather than universal, so recent reviews will show whether it is still an issue.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults put Quest Suva at €159.48 a night, 19% below the sample median of €197.94. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Holiday Inn Suva by IHG (4 stars, 8.3), was €231.43 a night, the most expensive of our three in this sample. Our Luxury pick, Grand Pacific Hotel (5 stars, 8.7), was €197.94. Quest Suva was the cheapest and sat between the other two on guest score. For about €38 more per night, the Grand Pacific adds a fifth star and a slightly higher score.
Listed facilities are a gym, free parking, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk. Free Wi-Fi is not listed in our data, and breakfast details are not confirmed, so check both.
