This is our Budget pick for Singapore. It has 4 stars and a guest score of 8.1 out of 10 from 3,983 reviews. That is joint 16th of the 20 eligible hotels we compared, so not top of the table, but backed by a large number of reviews.

What guests say
On the positive side, guests highlight the location and cleanliness. They describe the hotel as tidy and well maintained, with fresh towels and organised amenities.
The main complaint is room size. Some units feel spacious, while others are cramped, with limited room for luggage. If this matters, check the room category and its stated size before you book.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 20 eligible Singapore hotels. After reserving the upscale choice, Rest Bugis had the lowest eligible reference price, which is how our Budget slot is filled.
Its score is lower than our other two picks, but 8.1 from nearly 4,000 reviews, plus a pool and a walkable location, makes it a sensible budget choice.
