RH Silene Hotel & Spa 4 Sup
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking if you want the top-rated hotel in our Castellón sample, with a spa, pool and a much-praised breakfast, and you do not need to be in the old centre. Expect extra charges for parking and spa access, and plan on transport to reach the cathedral.

This is a hotel for travellers who want facilities on site. The property lists a spa and wellness centre, a pool, a gym, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace and family rooms. Families and couples planning to spend time at the hotel will get the most from it.
It scores 9.1 out of 10 from 3,103 guest reviews, the joint highest score among the 11 eligible hotels we compared in Castellón de la Plana.
Skip it if you want to walk out of the door into the historic centre. The Co-Cathedral is more than an hour away on foot. Travellers who resent paying extra for parking or spa access should also read the guest comments below first.
Location and getting around
The address is Avenida del Golf, 2. The hotel's location score is 9 out of 10, which suggests guests are happy with the setting, but the data does not describe the surroundings in detail.
Castelló Co-Cathedral is about 5.3 km away, roughly 66 minutes on foot. That is far, so you will need public transport or a taxi to reach the centre. Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
A beach appears in the provider's facility list. That does not confirm a beachfront position or a walking distance to the sand, so check a map before you count on it.
What guests say
Staff come up again and again. Guests describe a friendly, professional and attentive team and a warm welcome on arrival.
Breakfast is the other big draw. Reviewers mention an extensive buffet with fresh, high-quality food and items made to order. The listed styles are continental, Italian, full English or Irish, vegetarian, gluten-free and buffet.
The main complaint is about extras. Room rates feel reasonable to many guests, but parking, spa access and water cost more. Factor those in when you compare prices.
Price and what you get against our other Castellón picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults in one room, was €101.74 per night, about €203 for the two nights. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
That is above the sample median of €76 a night. Our Best Value pick, Silken Turcosa 3 Sup, came in at €76 with a 9.0 score. Our Budget pick, Cool Lofts Boutique Castellón, was €61.90, also scoring 9.0. Both are three-star hotels.
The extra €25 to €40 a night here buys a fourth star, the top guest score in the sample and the spa, pool and gym. If you will not use them, the other two picks score almost as well for less.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 11 eligible properties in Castellón de la Plana. Our Luxury slot goes to a five-star hotel where possible. A four-star hotel can take it only if it scores at least 8.5, and this one clears that bar with 9.1.
It also has the largest set of listed facilities among our three picks here and a high volume of reviews, which makes the score more reliable.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check whether breakfast is in your rate.
Ask about the cost of spa access and parking before you arrive. Pool and spa opening times in November are not confirmed either, so confirm them if they are a reason to book.
