This is our Best Value pick in Castellón de la Plana, a three-star hotel with a guest score of 9.0 from 2,696 reviews. That put it joint second of 11 in our sample.
It suits couples and families who want a seafront base, with the marina and plenty of restaurants close by. Family rooms and a gym are listed, and it is tagged as pet-friendly, though pet rules are not confirmed.
Skip it if you mainly want to explore the city centre on foot. The one city sight in our data is close to an hour's walk away.
Location and getting around
The address is Treballadors de la Mar, 1. Guests rate the location 9.1 and say it sits next to the marina with harbour views and many restaurants nearby.

Walking times are straight-line estimates, and the real route will usually be longer.
What guests say
Location and staff lead the praise. Guests like the marina setting and the restaurants around it, and they describe a friendly, helpful and professional team that gives a warm welcome.
The complaint is about extras. Room rates feel reasonable, but guests find the breakfast and parking fees high. Breakfast is listed as a buffet.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was €76.00 per night. It is a reference price, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
That matched the sample median of €76.00 exactly. Cool Lofts Boutique Castellón, our Budget pick with 3 stars and the same 9.0 score, was €61.90. RH Silene Hotel & Spa 4 Sup, our Luxury pick with 4 stars and 9.1, was €101.74.
So the Budget pick saves about €14 per night for the same score. What tips the balance here is the marina location and the much larger number of reviews behind the score. Add breakfast and parking, though, and the gap to the Luxury pick narrows.
The property lists a gym, a terrace, family rooms, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
