This is our Luxury pick for Nottingham, and it is not a classic luxury hotel. It is an official 4-star that took the slot because no five-star qualified and it scored 8.9 out of 10 from 2,534 reviews, the joint top score of the 6 eligible properties we compared.
It suits couples, friends and families who want a central, well-rated base and do not need hotel extras. Family rooms are listed, and pets are tagged as accepted.
Skip it if luxury for you means a restaurant, a spa or a gym on site. Our data lists none of these. The listed facilities are short: free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a 24-hour front desk and family rooms.
Location and getting around
The address is Stanley Place, Off Talbot Street, Nottingham, in the city centre. Guests rate the location 9.3 out of 10.
Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. Nottingham Cathedral is 0.2 km away, about 3 minutes on foot. Nottingham Castle is 0.8 km, around 10 minutes.
Trent Bridge is 2.6 km, roughly 33 minutes. That is far for a casual walk, so plan on public transport or a taxi for a match day. Parking is not confirmed in our data.
What guests say
Our data holds the overall score of 8.9 from 2,534 reviews and the 9.3 location score, but no written summary of what guests liked or disliked.
That means we cannot tell you how guests rate the beds, the noise or the staff. Read several recent reviews, looking especially at room size, noise and what is included in the stay.
Price and what you get, compared with our other two picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 was €97.11 per night for 2 adults in one room. That is 51% below the sample median of €198.47. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
This is a city where our picks run against type. Our Budget pick, Leonardo Hotel Nottingham (4 stars, 8.5), was seen at €158.54. Our Best Value pick, Holiday Inn Nottingham by IHG (4 stars, 8.6), was seen at €206.34. On the reference dates, our Luxury pick was the cheapest of the three and had the highest score.
The catch is the short facility list. Breakfast is not confirmed at all, so you may need to eat out.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible properties in Nottingham. Five-star hotels get priority for the Luxury slot, but a four-star can take it with a score of at least 8.5. Roomzzz Nottingham City scored 8.9, the joint highest in the sample.
Because prices move, the odd ordering of our three picks may not hold for your dates. Treat the score and location as the lasting reasons it was chosen.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check each one on the booking page.
