Rüstempaşa Kervansaray Hotel with Free Parking
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want to sleep a few minutes on foot from Edirne's main mosques and pay less than at our other two picks. Skip it if breakfast matters a lot to you, or if you would gladly pay about €20 more a night for a much higher guest score.

This is our Budget pick in Edirne. It suits sightseers who want to walk to the mosques, drivers who want free parking listed by the property, and families, since family rooms are on the list.
It is less suited to travellers who rate a hotel by its breakfast. That is the most common complaint. It is also the lowest-scored of the 5 hotels we compared, so if guest ratings drive your choice, read the price section first.
Location and getting around
The address is SABUNİ MAHALLESİ İKİ KAPILI HAN CADDESİ NO:39, in what the booking data calls the top-rated area of Edirne. The location score is 9.5, the strongest number on this hotel's profile.
On our straight-line estimates, the Old Mosque is about 0.1 km away, roughly a minute on foot. Üç Şerefeli Mosque is about 0.3 km, around 4 minutes, and Selimiye Mosque about 0.4 km, around 5 minutes. Guests say shops, restaurants and historic landmarks are all within walking distance. Real routes are a little longer than a straight line, but for sightseeing on foot this is about as close as it gets.
What guests say
The score is 8.2 out of 10 from 2,272 reviews. The clear positive is the central position, close to shops, restaurants and the old sights.
Breakfast divides people. Some find it tasty, but many criticise the set-plate format and the lack of coffee. The property lists breakfast styles as continental, vegetarian, halal and buffet, yet guests describe a set plate, so ask what is served when you book. Among the 5 hotels we compared, this one sat joint last on review score. It earned its place on price and position, not on rating.
Price and how it compares with our other Edirne picks
The reference price was €77.97 a night, about €156 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
The median of the hotels we compared was €98 a night, so this sat about 20% below. Our Best Value pick, The Plaza Hotel Edirne, is a 4-star at €98 with a score of 9.4, the highest of our three. Our Luxury pick, Margi Hotel, is a 5-star at €106.36 with a score of 8.7. The gap to the Plaza is about €20 a night, which buys a much better guest score. If that sum is not a stretch, compare both before you choose.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible hotels in Edirne. After setting aside the upscale choice, this one had the lowest reference price, which is how our Budget slot is filled. Its 9.5 location score and the short walk to Selimiye Mosque make the low price easier to accept.
