This is our Best Value pick in Edirne. It suits travellers who care most about service and comfort, drivers who need free parking, and families, since family rooms are listed.
If you want to step out straight into the historic centre, it is not ideal: the main mosques are a 23 to 26 minute walk. Travellers on the tightest budget may also prefer our Budget pick, which was about 20 euros a night cheaper.
Location and getting around
The address is İstasyon mah. Armoni sok. No:1/1. Its location score is 9.4, a strong figure.
Selimiye Mosque is about 1.8 km away (around 23 minutes on foot), the Old Mosque about 1.9 km (24 minutes) and Üç Şerefeli Mosque about 2.1 km (26 minutes). These are straight-line estimates, so real walks will take a bit longer. The walk is doable, but a taxi is an option if you prefer. Free parking is listed for those arriving by car.
What guests say
The score is 9.4 out of 10 from 2,395 reviews, which put it joint first of the 5 properties in the sample.
Guests single out the breakfast, a rich and varied buffet with tasty options, and the staff, described as friendly, polite and professional.
The only recurring doubt is value. Some guests think the rates are reasonable, while others consider them high for the quality. It is a split opinion rather than a clear complaint.
Price compared with our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov, 2 adults) were about 98 euros a night, around 196 euros in total. That matches the sample median exactly. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Rüstempaşa Kervansaray Hotel with Free Parking, was about 78 euros a night with an 8.2 score. Our Luxury pick, Margi Hotel, was about 106 euros with an 8.7 score and five stars.
The Plaza sits in between on price but beats both on guest score. For about 8 euros less than the five-star option you get the best-rated stay of the three. Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, a garden, air conditioning, family rooms and free parking.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible properties in Edirne. Our Best Value slot balances guest score, number of reviews and price. A 9.4 average from almost 2,400 reviews at a median price made this an easy choice.
