This hotel suits travellers who want a well-reviewed 4-star base close to Rostock's old churches, with a spa and gym on the facilities list. A 9.2 score puts it at the top of the 7 hotels we compared.
Families will find family rooms listed. The breakfast is described as a buffet with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, useful for mixed diets. Pets are tagged, but the policy and any charge are not confirmed.
Skip it if price comes first. The Budget pick costs far less, and ScanHotels City, our Luxury pick, was cheaper in the reference search with the same 9.2 score.
Location and getting around
The address is Am Strande 6. Its location score is 9.3 out of 10, the strongest of the hotel's ratings.
Walking times are straight-line estimates. St. Peter's Church is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. St. Mary's Church is about 0.6 km, around 8 minutes.
The Rostock Art Gallery is a different story. At about 3.9 km, or 49 minutes on foot, it is far, so you will need public transport or a taxi. Check routes locally, as we have not verified them.
What guests say
Our data does not include a summary of guest likes or dislikes for this hotel. That means we cannot tell you what reviewers praise or criticise most.
What we can say is that 905 guests gave it an average of 9.2 out of 10, and a location score of 9.3. That is a smaller sample than some hotels in our list, so read a selection of recent reviews yourself, paying attention to comments on noise, room size and breakfast.
Price and how it compares with our other Rostock picks
The reference price was €135.58 per night, about €271 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That is above the sample median of €111.35. Our Budget pick, Prize by Radisson, Rostock City, was €79.40 a night with an 8.1 score. Our Luxury pick, ScanHotels City, was €119.96 with 9.2.
So in the reference search this hotel cost about €16 a night more than ScanHotels City at the same score, and about €56 more than the Budget pick. Prices change, so compare the two ScanHotels side by side for your own dates. Breakfast inclusion is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3

This hotel shared first place on review score among the 7, with an excellent location rating. Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, a spa and wellness centre, a gym, a restaurant, family rooms, air conditioning and a terrace.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the rate details carefully.
