This is our Best Value pick in Cardiff, a 4-star hotel that suits families, couples and travellers who want the bay as well as the city centre. Family rooms and a gym are listed, and the property is tagged as pet-friendly; confirm the conditions with the hotel.
Skip it if you mainly want to be beside the castle and the stations. The castle is about 20 minutes away on foot, and our Budget pick sits next to the train station for less than half the price.
