This is a hotel for price-conscious travellers who still want a few facilities. For about €35 a night you get a 4-star property that lists a gym, a restaurant, family rooms, free parking, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
It is a reasonable choice for short city stays and for drivers, given the free parking.
Skip it if you want the strongest reviews. The score is 8.1 out of 10 from 61 reviews, which is decent, but it was the lowest of the 7 hotels we compared. If you can stretch your budget slightly, our Best Value pick scores 8.4.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at No.1, Xin'an Street, in Zhongshan District. The provider rates the location 8.4.
Dalian Catholic Church is about 1.5 km away, roughly 19 minutes on foot. Dalian Mosque is about 2.3 km away, close to 29 minutes. Both are straight-line estimates, so real walks may take longer.
Xinghai Square is about 6.7 km away, around 84 minutes on foot. That is far, so plan on public transport or a taxi.

The reference price was €35.05 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. The sample median was €68.36, so this was 49% below the typical rate. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Holiday Inn Express City Centre Dalian by IHG, was €46.78 a night with a score of 8.4 and 4 stars. Our Luxury pick, Fraser Suites Dalian, was €83.17 with a score of 9.1 and 5 stars.
The trade is simple. Here you save around €12 a night against the Best Value pick and around €48 against the Luxury pick, in exchange for a lower guest score. Breakfast is not confirmed, so factor that in when you compare.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 7 eligible hotels in Dalian. This one had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside, which is how our Budget pick is chosen.
It also keeps a respectable 8.1 score and 4 stars, so the low price does not come with a weak rating.
