The Westin Saraya Aqaba Resort & Spa is our Luxury pick in Aqaba. It is officially rated 5 stars, with a guest score of 9.3 out of 10 from 861 reviews.
This is a resort stay. The property lists beachfront access, a spa, a pool, a gym, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace, family rooms and free parking. It suits couples and families who plan to spend a good part of the trip at the hotel itself. It is tagged as pet-friendly; confirm the terms.
Skip it if you mostly sleep in your room and spend the day out. The same guest score is available elsewhere in Aqaba for far less, as the price section shows.
Location and getting around
The address is Al-Hashemi Street, and the location sub-score is 9.5. Aqaba Archaeological Museum is about 1.6 km away, around 20 minutes on foot, and Aqaba Fortress about 1.7 km, roughly 21 minutes.
Coral World Underwater Observatory is about 8.4 km away, around 105 minutes walking. That is far, so you will need a taxi or public transport.
Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been checked on real routes.
What guests say
Staff and cleanliness lead the praise. Guests describe a professional, friendly and attentive team, and accommodation that is spotless, well maintained and fresh throughout.
The pool draws the main criticism. Guests find the area attractive, with sunbeds, but say it is often crowded and the water is cold. If pool time is central to your plans, ask about it before booking. Room size and renovation condition have not been assessed in our data.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price was €201.47 per night. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not a live quote. The sample median was €77.99, so the Westin cost more than double the typical hotel in the sample.
Our Budget pick, Nice View 1 Hotel للعائلات فقط, was €34.45 with 3 stars and a score of 8.5. Our Best Value pick, Twins Boutique Hotel, was €50.20 with 4 stars and the same 9.3 score. You are paying around €151 a night extra over Twins for the beach, spa, pool and resort setting, not for a higher guest rating.
The breakfast list is long: continental, full English or Irish, vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, American, buffet and breakfast to go. Whether breakfast is included in your rate has not been confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 12 eligible hotels in Aqaba. For the Luxury slot, five-star hotels come first. The Westin is a 5-star property with a 9.3 score, sharing fourth place on score among the 12, which made it the clear choice for the top tier.
