Worth booking if you are driving and want a four-star with pools and free parking near Efteling and Beekse Bergen. If you want to explore Tilburg itself without a car, it is too far out, and our Best Value pick, Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum, costs only about €21 more a night.

This is our Budget choice for Tilburg, but it is a four-star hotel with a pool, a spa, a gym, a restaurant, a garden and family rooms. It suits families and road-trippers with a car, especially those heading to Efteling or Beekse Bergen, which guests say are nearby by highway.
Skip it if you have no car or want to spend your time in Tilburg town. The sights in our data are all more than two hours away on foot.
Location and getting around
The address is Klein Zwitserland 8. The location score is 8.5 out of 10, and guests praise the convenient highway access.
The sights in our data are far. Heuvelse kerk is about 10.2 km away, roughly 128 minutes on foot by straight-line estimate. Safaripark Beekse Bergen is about 12 km, around 150 minutes, and Koningshoeven Abbey about 12.8 km, around 160 minutes. None of these is walkable, so plan on a car, public transport or a taxi. These times have not been verified.

What guests say
The hotel scores 8.4 out of 10 from 1,101 reviews, joint position 2 of 4 eligible hotels in the provider sample.
Guests like the location for drivers, with easy highway access towards Efteling and the safari park. They also praise the staff as friendly and professional at reception and in the dining areas.
The weak point is the pool area. Guests mention heated indoor and outdoor pools, but say the changing rooms can be dirty and seating is limited. If the pool is a big part of your plan, go at quieter times.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults came to about €159.26 per night. That is 10% below the sample median of €177.79. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum, is a four-star scoring 8.3 at about €180.57 per night. Our Luxury pick, Van der Valk Hotel Tilburg, is a four-star scoring 8.8 at about €182.76 per night.
The three are close in price. Over two nights this hotel saves about €43 against the Mercure and about €47 against Van der Valk Hotel Tilburg. That is a modest saving, and it comes with a location outside the city. For drivers the pools and free parking may tip the balance; for city visitors, the saving is probably not enough.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 4 eligible hotels in Tilburg, a small sample. After reserving the upscale slot, this one had the lowest eligible reference price, which earned it the Budget place.
It also offers the longest facility list of the three, including pools, a spa and free parking.
