Couples on a special trip and travellers who care most about service are the clearest fit. Guests describe a friendly, helpful and professional team, and the 9.3 score is the highest in our Bordeaux sample.
It also suits people who like a quiet street at night but still want to walk to the main sights. The property is tagged as pet friendly; conditions and fees are not confirmed.
Skip it if you are watching costs closely. At €284.11 a night it was well above the city median, and some guests find breakfast and parking prices steep on top.
Location and getting around
The address is 108 Rue Abbé de l'Epée, in Bordeaux City-Centre. The location score is 9.3.
The Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux is about 0.8 km away, roughly 10 minutes on foot, and Bordeaux Cathedral about 0.9 km, around 11 minutes. The Basilica of St. Michael is about 1.8 km, near 23 minutes.
That makes it a little further from the core than our Best Value pick, which is 3 minutes from the Grand Théâtre. Guests see the trade as worth it for the quiet street. Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
Staff earn the most praise: friendly, helpful and professional, with a warm welcome. The location is the other positive, central enough to walk to attractions while staying quiet.
The complaint is about extras. Guests rate the standards highly, but some find breakfast and parking prices steep.
The score of 9.3 rests on 530 reviews. That is a smaller base than large hotels have, so it could move a little more with new feedback.
